Commitment to People

Legacy Senior Living considers it an honor to serve those who have helped to build the country we live in today. And as committed as we are to that service, we are equally committed to those professional caregivers who provide the service.

Legacy Senior Living employs highly qualified individuals who recognize that we are just a small part of the amazing life stories of our residents. Our team of professionals understand that we participate in those stories by providing quality personalized care delivered with honor, respect, faith and integrity.

Our hiring program includes online evaluations of judgment, values and competency. We invest in multiple orientation programs to do our best in ensuring our team has a thorough understanding of our mission and values and service standards.

Legacy Senior Living regularly recognizes team members who are “Going the Extra Mile” with monthly, quarterly and annual recognition, including monetary awards, and provides ongoing Relias opportunities for continued professional and personal development. The Relias training program provides unlimited, free life skills learning opportunities in areas such as household budgeting, choosing quality child care, avoiding credit card mistakes, keeping your family fit and time management.

Legacy Cares, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that helps supports the team members of senior living communities served by its affiliate, Legacy Senior Living. Legacy Cares helps by providing some financial assistance to team members in times of unexpected tragedies.

Legacy Rewards is a program that systematically accumulates points for Legacy Senior Living team members based on length of service, punctuality and attendance.

At Legacy Senior Living, we believe in the commitment to everyone, especially our team members. We are dedicated to providing them with a plan for their future retirement through the Transamerica 401K Program. If you are a Legacy team member and you would like more information about setting up your 401K, visit the TransAmerica Retirement website.

Each facility has a chaplain who provides for ministerial needs that are in keeping with the residents’ faith at each facility. A company-wide chaplain coordinator, Pastor Phillip Cook, helps to support and oversee chaplains at all facilities.

Our campus administrators and staff are some the most caring and dedicated senior care professionals in the country. They live out Legacy Senior Living's corporate mission as their own.
