Bryan Cook

Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Bryan Cook2Bryan Cook is a veteran of the senior housing and long-term care industry. He entered the profession in 1992 and has served continuously in the industry for his entirety of his career. He began with Life Care Center of America serving as a skilled nursing facility administrator and progressively grew to responsibility over sixty-three nursing facilities. In 2006, Bryan left Life Care to partner with Barry Ray to form Legacy Senior Living.

At Life Care, Bryan held positions of Administrator, Regional Vice President, and for his last three years with the company - Division Vice President. In the Division Vice President role, Bryan had operational responsibility for over 9,000 skilled nursing facility beds in eight states.

Bryan also spent over four years with another skilled nursing care/assisted living provider called Royal Care, Inc. based in Cleveland, Tennessee. While there, he served as Regional Director of Operations overseeing seven skilled nursing facilities. Royal Care, Inc. formed a sister company called The Wellington Group, LLC to develop, own and operate assisted living facilities. Cook was chosen to lead that growth as the founding Vice President of Operations for the new entity. While at The Wellington Group, Bryan was ultimately responsible for eighteen assisted living facilities spanning six states and was a partner in the company’s home care agency called Wellington Home Health of Tennessee.

A graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, Bryan is a frequent speaker on senior housing and long-term care related matters. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and is a Certified Administrator with the American College of Health Care Administrators. Cook frequently serves on various industry boards and state councils relating to industry issues and opportunities. With his wife, Traclyn, and their three children; Stephani, Matthew and Abbi, he is a member at the City Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
