Legacy Village at Park Regency in Moultrie and Legacy Village at Plantation Manor in Thomasville came under management of the new company on October 1, 2014.

“Legacy Senior Services is proud of our company’s reputation for compassionate caregivers and its spirit of innovation. Today we are blessed by the opportunity to serve seniors and their loved ones in Thomasville and Moultrie,” Cook said.

Moultrie’s Legacy Village at Park Regency, located at 3000 Veterans Parkway South, offers 51 attractive apartments dedicated to senior living, including 24 Alzheimer’s memory care units.

Thomasville’s Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, located at 220 Park Avenue, offers 58 attractive apartments dedicated to senior living, including 24 Alzheimer’s memory care units.

“We have worked with leading national researchers to develop and design a specific physical memory care environment, known as The Harbor, to improve the life enrichment and delivery of care to our residents,” says Cook.

The Harbor features bright and lively colors, large windows, specific floor types, intentional textures and furnishing – all presenting a 1950s theme designed to remind residents of happier times. In addition to the custom themes, The Harbor concept features two unique technologies, SimpleCand  A Purposeful Day ProgramSM, designed to aid in the care and treatment of residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory related disorders.
